Aloha, many of you have asked about my failed nomination to be a Circuit Court Judge back in 2004.  I first want to say how blessed my family and I were with the outpouring of support from so many different people.  It touched my family and me very deeply.  The joke I make is that a person usually has to pass away to have so many people say good things about you.  I am forever grateful for the tremendous support of people in our Big Island and State wide community.

I am sharing only a fraction of the letters, testimony and email that were submitted at the confirmation hearing.  The limitations of the web doesn't permit me to put up everyone's kind and generous statement of support.  But these few statements give you the opportunity to see what people really think about me and allows you to make up your mind about who I am and what I stand for.
