About Ted - Family
Ted is the oldest of three (3) children. His father Tany S. Hong, was the Administrative Judge for the District Court in Honolulu and Attorney General during the Ariyoshi Administration. Ted’s mother, Naomi Hong, is a retired Fifth Grade elementary school teacher. His younger brother, Stan Hong, is a pilot with Hawaiian Airlines and Major with the Hawaii Air National Guard. The youngest in the family is Lea O. Hong, the Executive Director for the Hawaii office of the Trust for Public Land and recognized as one of the leading environmental lawyers in the State of Hawaii.
