10 Reasons to elecTed

1. Empower teachers and principals by making sure that the bulk of every education tax dollar goes into the classroom and reward excellence.
2. Improve Health Care quality and accessibility through a comprehensive review and reform.
3. Stop taxpayer funded pension and medical benefits for any government official/employee convicted of any form of misconduct (e.g., Campaign spending violations; voter fraud; bribery; theft, etc.) while performing his or her duties.
4. Stop “Pay to Play” politics; protect non-profit organizations and employees from making forced campaign donations in exchange for funding.
5. Tighten restrictions on gifts, junkets and special interest lobbying, including stopping the practice embedding of staff (private and public sector) in a Legislator’s office.
6. Broaden economic base so less tourism dependent.
7. Protect employee pensions (public and private sector)
8. Stop raids on Highway Funds.
9. Protect and support agriculture on the Big Island (Sustainability).
10. Comprehensive review and overhaul of laws relating to Senior Citizens.
